Submissions now open for DocsBarcelona
Pitching Forum 2010
(2th-7th February 2010)
Following the success of last year, which gathered over 4,000 audience and 300 professionals, DocsBarcelona starts the path towards 2010 with more strength and energy, new contents and the same spirit.
The Pitching Forum will take place on the 4th and 5th of February in the Teatreneu, in the central district of Gracia in Barcelona.
If you’re looking for finance and distribution for your documentary project and want to network with commissioning editors and industry professionals, you can write down the Pitching Forum dates in your diary:
Project submissions: 28th of September
Deadline for project submissions: 4th of December
Pitching Workshop: 2nd and 3rd of February
Pitching Forum: 4th and 5th of February
You will get a chance to formally present your project in front of a carefully selected panel of professional decision-makers.
In the workshop, practical and intensive, you will improve your presentation, mentored by a group of international tutors.
In addition, this year we’re offering especial fees to
encourage the participation of professionals from emerging economies
and industries, and thus strengthen the exchange between different
nationalities.
You also have the option of registering as an observer and benefitting from a very interesting programme. The 13th observer to register will get a free accreditation.
Another novelty of this 13th edition will be the LUCKY PITCHES.
The Pitching Forum is complemented with the Festival,
where you will be get a chance to know the films and directors that
have become an international reference point, all this in one of the
most vibrant and attractive cities in Europe.
