My name is Christine Hille. I'm responsible for the industry events at the documentary festival DOK Leipzig and organise a meeting between producers from the Nordic countries, Eastern Europe and Germany. The coproduction meetings between producers and experts have a 5 year tradition in Leipzig. We think the importance of meetings between producers is growing, because of the growing importance of the financing by funds also for the documentary films and the decreasings amounts of
the broadcasters. At the same time it is very important to link the producers, to make them able to work internationally and to strength the European documentary industry. The coproduction meeting is an two days event, taking place in the festival week (October 26 and 27) and among one on one meetings between producers and experts it gives an introduction into the different markets and funding possibilities. I'm working together with the Filmkontakt Nord, who forwarded me your
