EPC’S 44th CO-PRODUCTION FORUM - ROME 2010

EPC’S 44th CO-PRODUCTION FORUM - ROME 2010

The European Producers Club (EPC) is launching a call for projects for its next Coproduction Forum, which will take place during the Rome International Film Festival 2010, on Saturday, October 30th.

As part of our efforts to strengthen the European film industry, the EPC yearly organises four Coproduction Forums aimed at offering producers developing a project the possibility to meet a range of film professionals (co-producers, distributors, sales agents, etc.) based on their project's needs.

If selected, you will have the opportunity to:

·      Meet individually a wide variety of film professionals according to your project’s needs, including producers, sales agents, distributors, film commissions, etc.

·      Participate in the Forums organised in 2011, during the major European Film Festivals, as your project will be automatically selected.

·      Benefit from the support of the EPC in-between events.

In order to participate, you may send us your project using the application form provided in our website under the section “Application Form”: www.europeanproducersclub.org

Conditions:

·      Producers with, at least, two films produced and released in movie theatres are eligible

·      A selected project will be automatically chosen in following events (only under producer’s approval and confirmation)

·      When selected, participants will be charged a participation fee of 200€ / Forum (free of charge for EPC and ECN Members)

·      Deadline: September 24th, 2010

Since 2002, the EPC has successfully organised 43 Co-Production Forums, involving over 3,000 participants.

In 2009, 80 projects from 21 European countries were presented at the EPC forums. Our goal to provide a suitable number of meetings for each project was well met, since 451 meetings were set up between professionals from 24 different European countries. Selected projects included some award-winning directors such as Peter Greenaway, Agnieszka Holland and Renny Harlin, and recently released films such as Il Divo by Paolo Sorentino, and Lemon Tree by Eran Riklis.
