I am contacting you regarding the next FIPA which will be held in January 2011, 25-31, in Biarritz (France). We are in search of programs from all over the world for our selection which counts 5 competitive sections:
Dramas, Series, Creative documentaries, Reportages and current affairs, Performing Arts.
The selected programs must have been produced in 2010 for the FIPA 2011 and not have been presented in another international festival.
Each year, some Icelandic programs are submitted at the Fipa and some others are prospected in Nordisk Film Festival, but I would like to extend my contacts to get the most original and independant programs from Iceland. So, I would be grateful if you could help me: maybe have you already in mind some Icelandic audiovisual programs produced in 2010 that could interest us, or maybe could you inform your members and encourage them to submit their programs. If you have a list of them, it could also help me a lot.
The online submissions will be open on July 19th to November 26th.
